..is it dangerous?
I really would like to see a bit from this continent, i am really interested into it, also in parties there.
But i often see problems there here in the news and in the newspaper, about a lot of bad stuff and criminals.
I know it is not generally dangerous coz it is a really huge continent, but i am sure there are some areas where i as tourist shouldn't appear.
What do u think and know about this?

It depends on which countries you are travelling through, which towns and how you are travelling. If you are backpacking and using a easy mode of transportation (local or a bike for instance) the people are usually very helpful and friendly. I think it might be good to keep some form of protection on you in any case (there are thiefs everywhere u go!).
Otherwise if you travel with a tour group / company you are more than likely guarenteed some form of protection and the best is always safety in numbers, plus you get the benefits are getting taken to the best places.

I hadn't the idea to use the bike, i am doing a lot by bike, good idea
