Yeah.. dude I was at the CD launch party here in Cape Town.. too..
and yeah.. definitely one of the top indoor parties that I've been to... despite the slight technical problem they encountered during the party.....
Music was out of this world.. awesome.
World-class... and most of the stuff being played was local.
Much respect to Artifakt, Aleph, Skragg, and Damage....
They're doing a whole lot for the local trance scene and keeping it real....

Do you reckon our local artists make it to overseas? I travel quite regularly to Europe but apart from the Mother event in London I've rarely bumped into south africans overseas... which is rather a pity coz the Timecode CD, as you said, is really great. Can't wait to get my hands on the Alien Safari one.

Well..
I know of a coupla folks.
I know that Shift from Timecode is in London with Shane Gobi (Alchemy Records) at the moment probably working and hopefully playing in and around London.
Shane Gobi is also South African and he owns Alchemy Records. Starspine of Bent Sentient is also with Alchemy Records and I think he's leaving for London soon as well.... not sure though.
Damage from Timecode have just signed with Shaffel Records and the world will be their playground in the next coupla months....
There is a whole lotta talent coming out of South Africa... and I think that things are starting to come right.
