I don't agree with you boom shankar. It's the same as saying: well, it's ok for everyone to stop doing everything and start dacing. This is very idealistic, but we have to stay with our feet on the ground.
Would you go to work all stonned? Would you start playing some loud trance music in the middle of your work and start dancing? There's a time to have fun and there's a time to work.

Well for me there's no time for killing, and dancing is always welcomed- but no politics here, and I feel this is where this will go from here.
make trance not war!!!

PS
I don't do drugs- pot included.

great you guys. but your missing the point. the soldier was on duty to patrol the area and keep an eye on the Jordanian border at all times. other than leaving his post, he also took off his uniforms, gun, helmet, and disregarded every military law. need i remind you we already lost enough soldiers? some of them were kidnapped.

Yeah Right !!!!
It's just an act !!!!
I don't wanna start with politics ... it always ruins ppl's happiness!!!
Let's just say that Israel has always been fighting for its freedon , and it still is .
Jordan and Egypt and Syria etc ... they all hate us , no matter what they say .
There's no peace here ... it's always been a war and probably will always be one .
Shit happens ...
But this is OUR country , no matter what !

Cheers .

Johan and Boom Shankar, this is not Utopia land. Let's be realistic here.
And his thread is becoming too political

To all of you thats telling stuff like:
"Totally irresponsible", "not a way a soldier should behave".. etc...
Why not join the army and guard instead of him? ehh?
Its really easy to talk... so easy...
So what? The boy had his little fun, yes... It was a mistake in some way..
But a mistake I would have done for SURE!

keep that in mind, Cya.

Agreed , that's what I'm saying .
But still , I dunno ...
If there were some more soldiers arouns the place .. then i reckon it ain't that bad !
Besides ... I'm sure after dancing a lil' he got himself a good mood and felt a whole lot better .
That's how music affects ppl !

Cheers !

Israel: could there be  peace between us?
*Aliens* (*change with whatever u like here): Peacccee....??? NO peaceeeeeeeeeeeeee

yes

that's my 2 cents of politics

now, back to the soldier: jason is right, all of you are right, i am too :)

but no one here can know what he felt or what he thought before he threw his shit aside and starting dancing... think about it?
don't judge him.. he might have thought: "Yhalla#!!#@#!@ mesiba!!"

or "hmm... dropping my gun.. and shit.. erhm... well.. GUYS! TAKE CARE OF MY SHIT AND GUARD ME!! i just HAVE to break loss for a moment or fuck this country!"

see?

anyway... i agree with what somone here said: this is what the trance culture is for me!! fucking amazing ( please let that soldier NOT be an itzik liking nitzhonot)

Come on, stop all your rightousness and holy anger guys, I know that as a soldier, he shouldn't have been doing that, becuase it was his duty, but COME ON! Do you think that if you'd be in the army, and life would suck (like any life of a kravi in a batashit in that area sucks, and YES, I've been there and wasn't lucky enough for a huge party to happen then), ANY ONE OF US WOULD DANCE LIKE CRAZY.

That's what trance is all about, you hear the music like there's no other sound in the world, and then you dance like nobody's watching! All of us love the music (or shouldn't be writing in this forum), and anyone of us should not only protect him, but praise him - EVERYONE SHOULD GO WITH HIS PASSION, and God knows that trance is mine, and probably his as well.

I've been out of the army for a bit less than a year, and I can understand him SO MUCH. I was next to the dead sea for 4 months, and without the option of going to outdoor parties there on my free time, it would have been the worst time of my life.

The fact that he was supposed to protect the party people - well, yeah, but hell, with that line up, can you really blame him? :)

not true...
believe me been there too... what happened to you?
if he took drugs-than he shouldnt, wait for your fucking regila...
if he loves trance- beutifull for him, i am very happy but even than you should love more the party people that you came to protect!
if your theory is true asaf, than all we had to do in lebanon (sometimes i would here there trance of duty) is hear trance bangim and dlekot..
no, i might have done that when i was at home but not there..
if the soldier was off duty and maybe it was his time of rest than go for it.. but i dont think he was..
if he thinks that his uniform are not something he should wear and hates the idea of protecting
his firends-well nothing wrong with that too
but please go to the kaban or something and get released and than come and dance..
as i see it the soldier had no excuse-
DEFENETLY not fair to use the trance music as one !
