5- as for the %, well Lebanon is a small country, with only 3.5 million, so i guess there are alsmost 10,000 of them who listen to trance (number of people attending one trance event in Lebanon)..
as for psychedelic.. i guess there are almost 500 - 600 people only.

3.5 Million living in Leb and almost 14 Million spread around the world --> no accurate statistics...
[off topic: nolightatend, it's saddening to see ppl within the psy scene still thinking the way you do... you want to make statements about countries, at least know what you're talking about... this is a big forum, read by thousands of ppl worldwide... you guys have the responsibility to get educated before making these kind of statements about surrounding countries, whose ppl are struggling and fighting to get what was presented to all of you on a silver plate: freedom and democracy (broadly speaking)... should we want the region to evolve my friend, we should start evolving ourselves...]
Peace...

But this got nothing to do with religious issues, it s pure politics, you think that we have a problem with Israeli people?? hell no we don't, some of my dearest friends are israelis, and they are right here on this forum to support that
and if you choose to be a slave to the media, and believe everything you see on the news, then it s your choice, but you got to know that political issues between the two countries should not and does not create a barrier between its people.
back to the topic please

Girl, i don't call you names! I'm trully believe than man/woman who are in music industry and especially in electronic music have enough brain not to group ppl by races, ethnic groups or religion.
BUT then what the reason? You hate Surian right? We do the same, well not Surians but their goverment and their way of goverment.
Then what the reason for that? Answer me, if you not muslim country political wise then what the cause?

well i just want to add sumthin to my fellows here. Religion is not reflected by politics. mixing religion and politics is like mixing Psytrance with politics. Lebanon is not categorized by its religion. its a small country carrying a diverse mixture of around 17 different sects.and thats wat makes it special. Politics wise this makes it so complicated and difficult to manage cuz minorities and majorities should all be represented therefore opinions and decisions vary a lot. the fact that politics has an influence on the media in which it selects wat might be displayed is common everywhere and worldwide. Lets not judge wat we c on the media and believe it fully there are lots of things beyond wat u c. Psytrance and EM = FREEDOM = Knowledge open ur minds and without restraints this will make u enjoy life and look at it in another perspective. i apologize for typing too much but I REALIZE a lot of STEREOTYPING goin on. Concerning middle eastern countries. I dont blame anyone for stereotyping mayb if I lived abroad I wud of thought the same way but again knowledge. Seek it urself ¡K in Lebanon we all party, rave and go clubbing for the passion of it ignoring our sects and religions unlike politics. Hope this happens everywhere. enjoyyyyyy i hav lots of friends who wish to visit israel to check out the nightlife. sorry 4 being OFFtopic TRance in all it genres is beyond from all these restraints it is a state of mind so dont let ignorance defeat ur own state of mind.

In Portugal psytrance got really mainstream, ok...even though some might not be able to name bands, most ppl (and i talk 15-28 y.o.) at least know what psytrance is and about the parties etc. There are parties every weekend (sometimes more than 1 per wkd..) with huge line ups...most big names have been to portugal a lot of times...
about numbers, i got no idea, but a lot! too manY! lol |

About 8 milion people live in Serbia. By my estimation there is about 10 000 - 12 000 listeners. Perhaps this is not accurate but, give or take a 1000. So that`s about 0.15% |

I read sometime back that Psytrance currently is the most heard music in the world! This also has the the potential to keep growing as miniscule usage of language.
I do not know but could be some amount of spiritual
or Psy enlightenmemt maybe required for better understanding.
But whatever the roadblock the truly emamcipated
people of whichever country are the hope for it's growth; so too in India . |
