Yes man it is frustrating but that is why you need balance with a little bit of work to get the money for the gear you dream about  Everything that you need and cannot buy is frustrating! You have to be happy with what you have and then when you get enough money you always update your studio as u wish...Anyway it still takes shit loads of time to get your ear to hear all the frequency spectrum in music so you can still train even on just software.

dude the gear i wanna buy.. i could work for 5years straight a normal job and not be able to get half of the stuff...
i think if ill write some house tunez it will go faster... 
and at least for me a normal jobs sucks the inspiration out, seriously when i was working as a painter i was so tiered every night when i came home i just ate, toke a shower then went to sleep, woke up next day and what do you do... go to work again... and when the weekend comes and you get time for music... nothing comes out... but maybe it's just me  On 2011-03-08 23:13, moki wrote:

I am sure you can find a way nothing is easy everything comes with a lot of hard work with it whatever it is material or spiritual you always need work hard but the universe provides us with paths which lead to the one souce we are meant to be so don't worry too much even if you have the best equipment in the world it's still a matter that you have to work hard to get to know how you can use it best so it's endless...Focus and work hard on your focus and it will happen eventually |

so at the end of the day money wins . sad but true. this is the first year since i ever got to trance, that there was not even one person engaged in music production , label management or party organizing , that did not tell me how bad his financial situation nowadays is. this year i ran away to the forests and 90 percent of the parties that i visited were the dark underground in the forests and beaches far far away. dont wanna have anything to do with this big big scene where i myself do not fit anymore. the rest 10 percents were parties where i was engaged myself. and i think one more exception, only one party for the whole year, that was not underground nor with my participation, that i visited.
so the final conclusion: yet it is really dead for me now. this is ridiculous, the people are really running after money like hell of insane psychopaths. i mean, we all have to work, we all need inspirations for life and get it all killed by normal works and it is not just the artists and labels who have kind of difficulties nowadays. we all do. and some people are so lost in all this professionalizing of the scene, that they dont even notice that soon there will only be artists and no freaks anymore, and everyone will only try to sell and make himself independent of other jobs. but may be it will be just all fine. they go and play, get there money, discuss on isratrance about red lists of labels who did not pay or have 23 pages of discussions who when and why never paid.
but as i said. for me only the underground lives now. with the rest i cannot get aquianted any more. i just cant trip overground anymore. and i slightly suppose that i am not the only one. money wins. and i go away. it just looks dead to me. and i am really glad that there are guys that can say it better in music than i could ever say it in words. hope to have more underground in the next months otherwise i feel the coming of the most anti social winter in my life.
