Well basically what we are saying it is a sound typically coming from the 303. But nowadays it could be made on many good synths. Even software has some good emulations. So it might be done with any synth and they might have added some of the 'local' fx on the sound in stead of keeping it the dry 303 sound.           soundcloud.com/supergroover

Yeah, I just got a bit worked up over nothing and decided to take the different stance. But right now I am just trying to replicate this sound with a 303 monobass emulator and I am having little success. Any tips on what part of the patch or FX section to focus on for this sound?

Right now I am assuming it is a square wave, not too much reso, lots of slide, and lots of flanger. But it still sounds nothing like it.
