Hey
i concider myself as a part of the trance scene
for just more than a year.
i was listening to trance in 96-98 but nothing
serious (the happy days of nitzhonot)
anyways..
if our old members around can tell me thier expiriences they had in those year and maybe above those years.
everything from music, underground, drugs, partys whatever u like.
Most of the guys i know from those years tells me those days will never come back
"those were the good days" so feel free to talk , have a nice day

Don't get old ravers to start talking about when everything used to be better. It's one stereotype that's always true. The music was different, the vibe was different, the people were different. Not everything was better, everything was less organized, the music and production values were a lot less proffesional. I guess it's about being there and then, I don't think anyone can explain it in a better way than "it will never be like that again".           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

hah boring goa
I ain't gonna start messing around here too much - just to say that, those years of music - and of ppl, were increddible....(as opposed today) maybe because it was part of my teenhood.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Well , i still listen to music from that time , but also to new and improved music , i mean , you cant stay in the same point for a long time , this is what trance is all about , changing all the time . it cant stay in the same point .

I think you'll find most people think that the year after they first started going out to parties, raves etc, which ever year that is, was the best for music, parties, atmosphere and "it'll never be the same again" - but for someone going out to their first party this weekend - its exactly the same!

i think itz really wrong to etseem Goa as boring, Goa s one of or maybe the most complxd style atall, n just cant be borin when great artists doin it, itz sometimes gettin so emotional, unlike on much more minimal lines, which most of r very boring, n only great artists can make the minimal as a good line,,.. the goa'd never been boring, the main point is ; if u think bout boring goa, i think uve never heard reall ones,..

4exmpl' i prefer one of my favorite groups X-Dream with the goa line before the tech-trans, whichs also great, but it seems i love em more w their goa stuff, same as pleiadianz before the new etnica line n some more,.. enjoy : )

i can't really answer this one since i was never (and still isn't) a raver. i enjoy only the music, i rarely party
but i remember being enthusiastic with every new sound or band that i heard. i was always looking for things i haven't heard before and back then, it was much easyer than it is now!

personally ive heard many people refer to 96-99 as the lost years but for me i had just got into it in 95 so everything was fresh and brand new. most of the people that talk about the good ole years talk like that because they have been into for a long time and everything is not as magical as it was when they had no idea what was gonna happen next for you brain just gets used to anything after its been exposed so many times
