is it true than? is trance outlawed in mexico simply because the Gov'nor's daughter took one Ex too many?

It would be sad indeed, they had such a booming scene, much like here in brazil....
but it would not surprise me at all if it indeed happened.

i can only bett it happen in the flow rec. party last weekend!
go to flow rec. site its a flyer jumps out from there, saying:
snug as bug live, antix live+dj set , shiva chandra live, paps dj set, droidlock live, dj pena and more.
so no wonder...

I have a friend who arrived from Mexico City the day before yesterday. She said she heard some rumors about the Tegma party being canceled but there was something to do with the organizers not being able to pay the costs of the trip...I'm not sure about that....It's what she told me. |

The rumor about the president's X-Lovin' daughter is indeed true.
Heard about it from a well-respected source in Mexico.
About outlawing parties,
well right after that incident the authorities contacted a lot of orginisers and warned them not to make big outdoor events -
because they will be raided and closed.
So now maybe things chilled a bit, but that was the situation a few weeks ago.
There is an ongoing wave of cancellations in Mexico lately,for other resaons also.
Sound Sorcery's TIME AND SPACE II big rave was also cancelled, and this was supposed to be one of the biggest parties ever in Mexico.
Anyway this trouble with the athorities is like a scratched record repeating itself in every country,there is nothing to do -
let's just hope that the Psyscene in Mexico will keep on going,
and let's also hope this shit won't arrive in Brazil :-(
