Eletric Tease = GROOVE
no more, no less. I like it!!
yeah it's housy, so what? delta is technoish, violet vision is drum n' bassy (this is funny) so what is the problem?
I think psy trance cannot close itself inside a nutshell...
It goes sth like this:

I'm with ya, I like diferent stuff too....
what I was trying to do , was explain to those israelis what V.O.R. was trying to say...
I like different stuff but nothing too much, I think we need to keep the goa spirit, I mean a few tracks with house, techno, or drum'n bass style is ok, but I wouldn't like psy-trance start going towards house style... this is for sure. |

But the Eletric Tease track has some spirit on it, dude!! Well, I don´t know, maybe I´m just annoyed and annoying some other ppl, but I really miss the spirit on this german and sweden stuff... |

Like I said earlier though, with all due respects to all of the hybrid styles... I'll always come back to good old 100% psychedelic trance.
Doesn't mean I don't like Electric Tease, Spirallianz or Violet Vision (on the contrary, they're all good acts), but when I hear a track by Saiko Pod or any other pure trance producer, I think to myself "this is what it's all about, really". |

for me the goa style its not something that i listen to, BUT then i come to some realy good outdoor party (BOOM,VOOV) and i hear space tribe i gonna crazy and its realy THIS... |

I got to the psy scene via the House scene,
and at the moment I just CANT listen to house, It sounds so lousy and cheap, and plain,
like there's no soul in it - commercial as Pop on MTV...
And in the future, house will be the nowadays pop.
Actually, I like it like this, having a 'not so big' community of psy lovers.
Maybe not all are refered as pure psytrance lovers, maybe not even me, but I do love this and I love all the sides of it - also the house/technoish/drummy/ blah blah sounds of it.
Just keep the vibe, cuz what we have is special.
It's fun being unique, and it's fun when I discover newish psy sounds and am very fond of them.
I'm also very happy when I play some of my psy stuff to some rock/pop/house/metal lovers, and they get impressed, becuz they're pretty sure that psy is just trance, and trance is also refered as house nowadays and it's very easy to confuse both, so It's fun when ppl r impressed by the beauty and madness of psychedelia - unlike the CRAZE of the ugly house.
But that's only my opinion :)

I was listening to the Twisted Records compilation DEMENTED and there are some tracks with some house feeling on it... like Trickster - Turquoise Mood... this is a wonderful housey psychedelic trance... I think that going to this direction is really great...house groove with the psytrance soul on it.... BOOM! |
