the reason for the shutdown of the entire country on this day has nothing to do with the war in 73... it has to do with israel being a theocracy before a democracy and not having seperation of religion and state.

Well I am organizing a party this yom kippur
and I must tell you , noone is disrespecting anyone.
me and my friends never fist and we always drive or go to parties because its our personal call .
I know that saturday is way more holier than yom kippur, it's written in the bible and kippur isn't .
so if people go out every friday night, it has NOTHING to do with religion !
so thats plain hypocrisy...
the second thing, we do the party far from people and its made only for people who never fist anyway and get bored at home ...
surrender: i think you can go whenever you want on the highway and park your car pretty close to your home and pick it up later ...
tho 24 hours party isn't as long as it seems since you dance and stuff half party and half you sleep and then its over... 
so I wish to all the fisters, have an easy fist!!

well I don’t wanna go into the religion stuff, but I think that this minifest is a groovy thing. First of all I believe that the people who go to this paty know the line up and know what to expect. Second of all I find the concept of staying more time not limiting but the true meaning of a trance tribe, like a small festival. The thing about parties in Israel is exactly what your mentioning here. People come for several hours, on the way, in small gangs and leave after the sunrise… it creates an alienated vibe… not as a tribe. That’s what so wicked about a festival (or an event like this) u come and u know people took free time and put effort into going. Plus Im sure there are plenty of other stuff u can find doing other than dancing to the tunes… though I don’t see any reason of resting… I aint gonna stop shaking my booty... at least till the arak starts to kick in...

oren have an easy fist and let people do what they want . it's a free country .
and if someone wants to go out instead of sitting home all day its their right and their call and if you expect all people behaving like you then it's disrespectful . all the people have the right to decide what to do with this day and so they shall.
when i give flyers to people i ask them first if they fist in kippur, if so , i respect them and go away, no one is forcing anyone!
plus on yom kippur arsim don't go out , i forgot this important virtue

Trancers! Dont turn this shit into some religion issue! If someone wants to go to a party, its his ******* choise! You're not capable to change someones opinion from going to not going or the other way around!
I know that I'm going if I'll find the time, oh shit! Its Yom Kipur, sure I'll have the time hehe..

parties on yom kipur are taking place around the country fot the last 8 year (for me at least - could be more than that) and there's nothing new about it so don't be so offencive...
and yup - usually you get there before and leave after, and try to think about it as the best thing to do on this way, so if you're bored with the party itself - you can always bring a good book along with you, a tent and all the rest you need to be comfy, and maybe some good shews - walking around the erea of the party could be nice since there isnt any choice of meating with the israeli families like on a regular shabat...
anyhow, till now i can only say that these parties sure has a very good atmosphere and crowd coming along, so it's kind of nice to spend the 24 hours outdoors in nature and nice ppl... don't think about it as something you must do (stay there the hole time) think about it as the thing you rather do (for lack of any other options...) |
