i can give you more then 10 reasons, but i think this 2 will be enough
1.less component on the chain.
2.the big mixers have better eq's (at least 4 way ).
actually i don't see any reason why i need to connect my card to the dj mixer.
i am still confused as to why it seems lots of acts use big multi-channel desks. most people don't seem to use separate outputs - often it's one dude with a laptop and a nord lead. these aren't digital desks, and often people don't use much cabling.
setting up a 64 channel mackie seems a bit like overkill if you're not splitting out lots of stems / groups, or mixing lots of live instruments
well with laptop and its enough mixing options right there.. eqs effects etc.
for using hands there is midi controlers..
all true , but my deam setup does need atleast 16 channels x 2.. and all should be connected
anywayz i have no problem with acts using just cds and synth and even call it live (prefer lively but this 'catch' only in some places) , but what for the pretend this i dont get.. kinda clown-ish imo.. every one gets if it is realy part of the music or not..
one thing.. usualy skazi does make live.. if good or not who cares but he play the guitar and its more then many others in the sense of playing an instrument.
