Trance Music Scene in Belo Horizonte - Money X Passion

There have been some questions about the trance parties in my city, Belo Horizonte. BH is kind of out of the trance scene in Brazil. Some dj's do not go there, or better most of the dj's do not go there. The called "Trance Moviment" says that the public in BH do not pay for the parties and so on....... but today I got an e mail saying: Bom galera nessa quarta feira dia 24/11 Ziller , Otacílio , Dj Robinho , Bahia , Othon e eu estamos fazendo a festa de lançamento do projeto " HOUSE OF FAN " Que irá acontecer todas as quartas durante o mês de dezembro na Floricultura sempre com a apresentação do Dj Robinho e convidados .Apartir das 21:30 hs . Os convites da festa de lançamento vcs podem estar pegando comigo .(off off) Só para convidados .
Aguardo a presença de todos. (it says about a new house music project that will be going on in December.) For the ones that do not know Leo Ziller and Otacilio are the "head" of the trance moviment. That makes me think, do they really love all kinds of e- music or do they just want to make big money??? It is very sad that our city is out of the scene.... and that some people just want to make money with trance.. For me and some of my friends trance music is life.....is passion, is felling good vibes... That e mail makes me think that if trance is not making enough money they will go to another kind of music. I am very disapointed!!! And I really wanted to know the opinion of the people from BH. I love trance as I love my city! |

Anything that turns out to be a merely profit issue loses the passion and the true spirit. And that's what I've seen in the major events in Brazil...there are still some old and good vibe in some parties, but after hearing that some muscle guys were fighting in a party in BH last weekend just made me remember of how Belo Horizonte is... everything is a fad. Nowadays, trance is the fad, and the promoters are taking advantage of the new "movement". It has always been like this. |

Hello Topsy !!
I have to disagree with you !! First i don't think that BH is OUT OF CENE, we got the best artist playing there if you check in the forum you will see just in December this artist: PARASENSE, PENTA and more to confirm, in november we got ESKIMO, NEUROMOTOR, NEXUS, HYPERSONIC WOMEN, etc.. and a lot of brasilian artist and Dj's.
ANd if you see what city's in brasil that got this kind of partys, you will see that BH ( in my opinion ) is the second biggest cene in Brasil Today. What about XXXperience BH ?? Space Buddah, and all others.
And Ziller and Cia don't go to another kind of music, they ALWAYS do party in all Eletronic Style. House, Trance, Drum Bass. I think they start with House ( don't remember ). The CLUB-E house, always play all kind of music !! Same to Bombar. And if im not wrong, one week after this party will happen RICA AMARAL at Joy.
We got a LOT of profissional "Nucleos" of trance in BH, the PSICOTRANCE, SPECTRAL MOON, ENZYME, PSYGRESSIVE IN DROP, SOMA and the TRANCE MOVIMENT ( sorry if i forgot some ) and i think all of them is doing some to the BH CENE !!

BH rocks your socks off!
BH has defenitely one of the most healthiest trance scene in brazil... i have had the pleasure to play here two times, and peopl ehave allways been nice and open.
BH is cool. Don´t think about how things could be better, just about how good things realy are.... in reality.
I love this town.

What´s your point?
If I make money? The BH psy scene? The house scene? My business? My personal live?
What´s your point man ???
Why are you worried about what am I doing with my time?
We have a office who work´s with e-music.
Simple like that.
In your point of view I can´t do a party with 2 dance floors? One psy and another with other style?
Well, you must tell organizers around the world cause I´m afraid to say to you:
SORRY, it happens ALL OVER THE WORLD. You are late, and have to change the world.
Each style has his own details and identid, and this REALLY when you do a party.
Our business concerns about e-music since 1997. It has been 8 years. Probably before you listen your first e-music.
If we keep ourselves in the market and people go to our parties and festivals probably we are working the right way.
You can talk about the parties, but my personal live it´s not your business.
Psy-trance is the style that we like more than the others.
Obviosly ( cause of it )we are trying to do our best in this scene althoug it´s the only one that make stupid questions like yours ( not question, but a NEW TOPIC in the forum !!!)
