Trance in Italy?

Since I am flying to Italy in less than three weeks and I'll be staying there for a few months I'd like to know what the trance scene in Italy is like.
So can anyone tell me?
I plan on spending most of my time in Toscana (around Firenze) and Umbria, and also a few days in Roma, so I am mostly interested in parties in these parts of the country. |

Usually there is a good number of outdoor parties in Toscana/Umbria/Rome area.
Not all of them are good or worth going but the locations are excellent most of the times.
The most updated source of information is always

Aside from Sonica, which you'll cetainly have heard about, look for Goaspirit parties

Excellent organization, right vibe at the parties and good djs (some of them will play @ Sonica too)
If you want to check a few pictures of Italian parties, I recommend

Or the pictures section in Goabase, a lot of party ppl upload there their pictures.

Grazie, I'll check those websites.
I already checked goabase.de but I could really find much info on most of the parties that are on it.
I have heard about Sonica indeed and I am probably going there!
