I like camelspace best. you can control different patterns and lots of modulation.
a simple free patterngate is mgtriggergate. works okay too.
never tried skidder yet.

hei thanx man. have never tryed the camelspace and i think i have it. stupid of mine
the skidder makes random gates. they can be controlled at some point but not so acuratelly. actually it is jsut for make express-gates. i mean if u need a standart gate efect. camel space looks much more controlable. I'll try it as fast as I can
Thanks for the info bro.

one more thing i forgot.
In cubase I was able to do it using the MIDI-GATE filter. it permits me to Write the notes as I want (the notes of the gating effect), applying this filter over sound, voice, synth, whatever gives the same result. Full-controlable gate effects as the notes are written by myself. My question is: Does anybody knows how exactly to apply this trick in Logic Auidio... Thinking of it it must be like conecting an midi instrument to a synth.. or how? any ideas?

Theres a DFX VST plugin called DFX MIDI Gater that does just that, opens and close the gate according to the notes you send to it.

Well
You take the wav channel you want to gate - send it to say FX channel 1
Then in the FX channel you load the gater
Now, i use FL so ill explain how to do this in fruity, dont know what youre using and how to do it there, but im sure youll work it out.
Anyway, i insert a new channel called MIDI Out. There, i open the piano roll and play the notes according to what i want to be gated and what not. I open the Midi Out window and set the port to say 1. Then i send the midi channel to the same FX channel, FX channel 1.
Then in the FX channel i open the midi gater plugin window and set the port to the same one as the midi out port, port 1. And there
Hope it was clear
