true... freakin ricksahws!

on lsd...if there is no music playing, my mind starts making music by finding a combined sequence in all the sounds that I hear at that time!
ever try leaving a polythene bag or a peice of paper floating on the ground with the fan switched on at a slower speed... its beautiful

At the end of a party, nobody was playing anymore but I could still hear music. So I asked what is that music in the background? It turns out it was the sound from the electric generator that was still turned on. I had taken some E that morning.

I think the trance sound effects are specially powerful after you have been listening to trance all night on lsd or something similar.

Another time it was the sound of water droping from a roof to the ground that was creating some very cool breakbeats, not trance though.

And once in mushrooms I was near a stream and the sound of the water going through the rocks was creating what seemed like the most divine music. IT WAS MUSIC. no doub't about it.

(YAWN)

What do you mean what is the point? I thought it was ok when it was related to music, which it is and the drug parts I mentioned are a useful bit of info if we want to get the story in the right context and illustrate the vibe it was in. But are we just not allowed to say anything related to psychedelic plants even if its related to music? Then I am absolutely confused here in what is supposed to be a psychedelic trance forum. And its because on one hand you allow a whole thread about getting wasted with alcohol “best hang over cure” even though its not related AT ALL with trance or music and the drug mentioned (alcohol) is not even generally considered psychedelic. And now when I mention a true psychedelic magic plant in a story related to MUSIC you start complaining????? Can you please explain why? Help me please, I am confused.

After several hours of loud boom boom it's pretty normal.. It's called auditory persistance, but maybe my translation is clumsy, be that as it may no drug is needed for it..

And I wasn't complaining, take it easy, just asking why you were feeling like sharing things like being on E a sunday morning.. Looks like a trophy you would put into a glazed cupboard..           .

This may come as some news but drugs have been known to alter, twist, distort, deform, greatly intensify or in the very least slightly enhance your perception. And so the reason I mentioned I took some E is because when I perceived the sound of the electric generator as music I was under the influence. Do you connect? Perception is the key word here. I was perceiving something as music which is generally considered noise. Nothing to do with trophies mate, I am merely putting the experience in its right context. But anyways, apparently as you mention there is even a name for this and drugs are not necessary to produce the effect.

In any case I will make an effort to leave drug references out of the forum as much as possible. However I am still wandering, curious why there are no questions asked in regards to a thread dedicated entirely about getting wasted with alcohol. Not that I oppose the thread at all but it’s kind of confusing as alcohol is like the least psychedelic drug of them all. Is this like a local thing about what is legal somewhere?

Keep it real.

Cheers,

Aluxe

PS sorry for my big "yawn" in the other post
