yes indeed the rain was incredibly refreshing, cooling the electrically charged bodies after the inibriation of frequency barrage. although it is difficult to pick out favorites among all the excellent artists who lended their sonic skills to complement the visual wonderland that was the main dance area, the highlights for me were lauryn who displayed her excellent mixing skills and exciting track selection( love that ocelot- turn it up) pentas live set - his music is always pushes all of my buttons in just the right way. and i guess im not the only one eh yomy

BUT i would have to agree with daya that TDC mafia morning set just tookt me to a different level. I wish that nik was there with the gang i hope he feels better. mukti - that mix with the two azax tracks was nothing short of brilliant. what an amazing vibe we had there ppl. THANK YOU TDC all djs artists visual artists and dancers for creating the amazing energy.

I went to the "tripoutny" yahoogroup run by Jeff. It is a weekly psytrance newsletter with all the psytrance events listed for that week.
I went and checked out the august 24th 2005 posting.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TripOutNY/message/3631

It says "Sept 16-18 - Upstate NY - http://www.omnidancefestival.info/" .

I am confused,The website has not been updated since last year. Is Omnitribe really going to throw another party at echo lake in a couple of weeks? Or is Jeff completely wrong?

Thx everyone for the kind words! Thx to everyone who attended the festival, i was really happy to see all the good ppl came
And i hope everyone enjoyed. Thanks to all the Dj's and artists for mind-blowing sets!

BIG thanks to Mietek for help during the set up
Also special thx to Sahil, i hope after this one ppl were able to gather back remains of their brains from the walls and ceiling.
Also i want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart to all the ppl who support us all around the world! Without all of u, nothing would ev happened!

Also i want to say sorry , Friday night i was unable to play cause i was deadly tired , and Saturday night i got severely sick ... still recovering at this moment.

Ok, the festival is over, i think the ground ( or my head ) was still shaking as we were leaving ... we are going to continue doing what we do (bringing up the trance scene in the US and making quality events)
So i hope to see everyone at the next party! Love and respect for all ~

I had an excellent time at echo lake this weekend. It is so excellent to get out of the city. Thank you so much. I might go up again this weekend to hang out with the russian trance heads who go up to camp at echo lake and listen to psytrance on their boombox almost every weekend during the summer. Oh yes, and there is going to be a "harvest festival" from october 5-7th @ echo lake, maybe we could talk to the management about setting up a small psytrance soundsystem over near the chill out area while the hippies have their jam bands on the main stage?           "They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security"

Since last year we have two Harvest fest. One guy pulling harvest fest since 1990 other (owner of the Echo Lake) since last year (they had a figh u know about what.....) I talked to both organizers both refused to have any kind of electronica on their fest (once they tried that back in 2000 and thay have very bad experience ,Sam (guy whos making orginal Harvest fest) simply said that they did attracted wrong kind of crowd, period.)
However if u ever been @ Harvest fest u dont have to worry. since ppl bringing all kind of music equipment (i am attending harvest since 1999) so basicaly u got 3 to 4 small scanes (about size and power of Last chill-out scene @ TDC) and they playing all kind of stuff.

thank you tdc for a great weekend and a special bday. not to take away from the music, but i focused on and enjoyed the truly free environment and the people much much more. it was really amazing to see so many good faces and meet some new friends... everyone was so intuned with what i think this culture is all about. i come away from this experience a better person for meeting and conversing with some of you great people.
thank you again tdc for the succesful effort to recesitate the culture and its ways.

I don't think I can add anything else. People pretty much said it all. Just an amazing event.
The only thing I can say is that for me it was THE BEST event in 9 years since I joined the trance scene.

Thanks to TDC Crew...you guys rock!!!

P.S. Does anybody have any pictures at all? I lost my camera with about 170 pics but I would really love to see some of the images of this beautiful event.
