Sometimes in parties there are ppl that they way of dancing is something special (The gander in not important).You can really see that they feel the music to the bone. Something very bountiful to see.
Anyway. One step forward:
many kinds off music used in dancing on shows like 'lord of the Dance' and in many other modern dance groups like 'Bat - sheva' In Israel.
I know that Dancing is freedom in Trance and its not really built on a formula like salsa.. Every one express himself in his way. have u ever heard about act/ppl/shows that use psychedelic Trance music?
If not, why it's not in use?

In the DVD Liquid Crystal Vision, earlier on, they show a lady dressed in the traditional Indian garb dancing to some Hallucinogen track. She does some bharat natyam moves or sumthn and its quite spiritual with all the trippy visuals.

I agree that we dont need dance shows. To me it seems antithetical to the concept of a trance party to have too much focus on any one individual. The beauty of a sucessful trance event is the dissolution of the sense of individual identity and the melding of the individuals into a collective whole on the dancefoor.
However, the way that individual people dance is very expressive and artistic. In those moments where I forget about where Im putting my feet and my arms I feel like my true soul comes out and I am dancing some deep, primative manifestion of my inner self. And then I bump into someone and the whole feeling goes ka-put, back to reality.
Anyway I think another level could be added to the artistic and expressive nature of our dancing by wearing costumes that represent the feelings we wish to project for that night.
I am also interested in the concept of incorporating mudras into my dancing. Unfortunatly I dont know any mudras and am under the impression they are generally kept secret so I probably wont be doing that any time soon.

yea especially if you make a walk around a big festival on the dance area you will notice so many dance artists!
