Hey people, I have knowlege in playing keyboards but dont have and cant get the equipment to make music. I have some ideas for melody so I need a good software where I can make psytrance without the equipment.

some others that might be easier if you've never touched a sequencer before.
Fruity Loops
Reason
Orion
Since you can't get equipment are you looking for free software? |

Sorry, but if Reason is to complicated for you, you should stay away from the rest!

i agree with Get-a-fix. Fruity is very intuitive. I had a much easier time with it then with Reason.
Good luck

I am quite experienced in cubase, logic, and protools and still I think reason is quite a big headache...so I don´t really agree with your comment...
With Cubase/Logic/Orion, the worst thing is to get the most basics out of it (wich can be thought by someone who knows it one afternoon), after this the rest comes qith experience much easily.
The first sequencer I used was frutiloops about 5 years ago or so, then I installed Logic and tried opening it so many times without ever being able to make any sound out of it at all then i got some tips from friends and everything started flowing...
So yes, I think fruti is a good advice to start, after you know a little of it, like use if fx, vsts, audio vs midi, and these kind of basics, then you can try some more standart sequencer like cubase or logic... |
