Trance clubs in Greece - Please Help!

Hi! Me and my girlfriend are thinking about going to Greece (probably one of the islands) in early August for a short 1 week holiday. We are not exactly sure where to go but we know that we want to go somewhere with nice beaches and variety of music at the bars and clubs (I like trance, she likes indie). We want to avoid anywhere that will be full of drunken idiots. Can you help us with any suggestions? Thanks! |

you will not be dissapointed regarding the nice beaches, but dont expect much about the trance music in greek islands....

Trance clubs can be found in Paros, but it's a very commercial island and the clubs are full of drunken idiots...
Except for specific events, i don't think you'll find something of overall worth...
I'd suggest to go to a medium island like Skopelos, so as to avoid the big (and drunken) crowds and find fantastic beaches..
A very nice crowd in bars and clubs also, but music is a bit commercial(i.e.Galvanize and worse)...
In general, if you want to do clubbing holidays Mykonos, and Paros is the place otherwise try the medium islands...DO NOT go to popular English destinations...My suggestion, since you'll come all the way here, is to try hippie vacations...You won't find these beaches in many more places...Samothraki, Koufonhsia, Elafonhsos.....Heaven on Earth (not much civilisation though)  |

greek islands are nice but you can find better beaches in Chalkidiki peninsula (northern Greece). there, you will find Goa beach bar playing trance and ethnic bar playing ethnic. these are situated in the second "leg" of the Halkidiki peninsula called Sithonia. warm beaches and nice friendly people you will find. Have Fun

Trance clubs in greece...xmmmmmmm
Small number of choices...
Better combine your vacation with a festival.
Avoid commercial places to avoid drunken idiots.
