Hey
well, as you all know most of the arsists who are making trance music have also few ambient tracks and even some of them have side ambient projects.
what i want to ask is what is the trance artist that makes the best ambient in your opinion? |

- "The Infinity Project" with their masterpiece album, "Mystical Experiences". No doubt about it. 
- "Juno Reactor" with the creepy creepy "Lu.ci-ana" One track that lasts for 60 minutes
- more to follow when i get the names popping up in my head.

I got a very personal opinion about it,I trance artist or act is only mature when he or they release a fairly decent ambient track.
to name a few....
Astral Projection
The Infinity Project
Man WNN (altough i only know "azimuth")
X-Dream
Eat Static (like "Area 51")
to name a few...
As i said..it's a very personal opinion.
Ooze is way nice.Juno also.But probably my choice would go to The Infinity Project.

he has several ambient projects like "Younger Brother" and "Shpongle"...

We know that.
"The Infinity Project" and The "Mystery of The Yeti" includes Simon Postford (Hallucinogen) But when did you hear a ambient track by "Hallucinogen" dj nadav?
And Shpongle is not a "trance" act! But they have some "trance" tracks awailible.. see: The Secret Of The Thirteen Crystal Skulls (last track) But in general "Younger Brother" and "Shpongle" is a chill act, and not a trance act. Hope you understand what i mean.. And hell yhea.. all hail to the great psychedelic artist Simon Postford.

1) Hallucinogen IN DUB is not the works of Hallucinogen/Simon Postford in general.. Its the work of the most genius dub artist named OTT *RESPECT*

I think MWNN with azymuth
hallucinogen of course, herb garden is just amazing and of course shpongle
vibrasphere of course, with amazing dubby tunes.
etnica trip tonight is classic

No, its a OTT album... A dubmix of selected Hallucinogen tracks. But Simon Postford also contribueded with some guitars and he also Co wrote/produced some of the tracks. To stoned to write the tracks down now, and i'm gonna watch http://www.allmovie.com/cg/avg.dll Love this movie.. veeerrry trippy in a psychotic way. 
But i'll look at the sleeve tomorrow and write them down if you want to.
