i use traktor 2.0 and i have an external mixer wich is plugged with an external sound card(Creative extigy) Maybe Creative soundcard is not the best sollution because i´m having bad interference but it has got all you need for an external Mixer or MIdi Keyb. |

well, i think you can use every mixer and even every soundcard for traktor. you only have to change the setting in the menu on the top right by clicking on "use extereal mixer"
what kind of set up do you have ?

psyk - yes, but performing with mp3's... blah
eliran - you need a sound card with multipile outputs, or 2 sound cards.

As far as I know, you can configure Traktor to work with any MIDI controller; there is a page in the Setup screen which lets you change the MIDI controller assigned to any control. I think Native Instruments also make a control surface specifically designed for Traktor. |

well i consider performing on mp3 the next geerartion thing..........u can rip mp3 in good quality.......and its easier as all ur music can come in a tiny package........even if ripped in wave where there is no loss of sound quality i get atleast 500 songs on to my 40GB harddisk which is enough for more than 8 hrs........and trust me its turns out to be cheaper then buyin or rentin pro equipment |
