Yes it is good software, and even if not it is better than learning nothing
And for me djing with computer is the much better than everything else.

i somehow really liked the whole concept of final scratch but ive never personally used it....but it seems to be a great device.....
i think u can really build up ur skills if u use a midi controller and a extrenal mixer for traktor ..... but try to stay away from autobeatmatching..... New mixes on

there's loads of helpfull stuff here in the fourom - use the search.
and to more parctical after a while in traktor you'll start to understand some basics techniques!
and, for my opinion, traktor is almost like the real thing.

traktor is really good....u can learn lots....but don't use the auto-bpm, sync features...try & do all those manually...
sure, u'll make a lot of mistakes, but then, no1's listening right? (unless you count the spirits in your wardrobe or the aliens) |

I use it and love it... I have the X-Session, and it does the job pretty well for now. I can't wait til they come out with a better "DJ" controller. Definitely learn to grid your beats... it takes a while to learn, but once you learn you can grid your beats quickly.

yea it's useful because you can set it up to contrrol the EQ and the Crossfader and the filters, and its inexpensive compared to other controllers. But Like I said, it's good enough, but it could be better, so I am hoping there will be a new controller coming out that controls more things in traktor. I have played gigs with it though, and it has worked out well. Let me know if you have more specific questions..
