Greetings to all who remember this topic and to those who have stumbled upon it.
It has been over 3 years since this tragic event.
And now for an update.
After letting time pass and heal the energies associated with this country and its psy-scene, I have decided to go back; to bring back balance to my own conscience and make things right in my own mind by performing in Guatemala.
Certain enthusiastic and professional promoters/djs had convinced me it would be a good idea to come out and headline the new years event in Antigua, Guatemala to ring in 2010, which I accepted for reasons already mentioned. During the convincing process, which took at least a couple years, a promoter was explaining to me that psy events did not take place in Guatemala for about a year after the tragedy (except perhaps sparsely and deeply underground), which I respected.
I'm pleased to announce that the New Years 2010 Antigua psy event turned out to be a success with zero authority intervention:)
I, within myself, have regained balance pertaining to these energies, and renewed my faith in the Mayan region.
So please, if you have the chance come visit a psy event in Guatemala. Yes, the crime and murder rates remain high there whether the perpetrators are authority figures or not, especially in and around Guatemala City, so be extra careful when traveling within this region regardless of whether or not you plan on attending a psy event.
But know that all hope is not lost in that region concerning our fragile collective psy consciousness.
