With all the trippy noise and glitch going around it can be hard to find tracks that just plain have a good melody.

Here's one

That background downward progression sounds really dismal until the end when it is revealed that it was a happy progression all along!

There used to be an artist called Setherian, sadly he doesn't make music anymore

Mutiverse IMO is a classic.

Just came to my mind:

Infected Mushroom: Dancing with Kadafi

And I still love it

When speaking harmonies and progressions you can't think about somebody better than Infected Mushroom

Everything fits each other in this track. It has a slow progression to the end. It's one of the tracks you fell in love after a few listens.           http://soundcloud.com/morphous

Last two tracks on “Naturall Frequency 1”. The same tracks can be cross-posted into the “full on with no cheese” thread. And into the “what you hate in a track” thread too – as a good example of “crimes” like piano, guitars, catchy melodies and flamboyant bass lines still amounting to a good tune.
