Hi thanks for posting but i carefully listened both tracks and couldn't find any teaser or mind hacking part :/ please point out the exact moment when you think this is tricking expectation.

Kindzadza is a good example for unexpected directions. I always remember a track of Waves From Inner Space called Crystal Inside that made me crazy for the capacity to broke expectation without losing groove and grip.

Right.....
Anyway,Dark Soho and Xenomorph are actually the only two dark psy if you wanna call it like that producers that managed to move me (well, and also Faxi from the forum, lol).Dark Soho has his element in unexpected "comebacks" from breaks.
Lately,it was when I heard for the first time Australian Progressive,it was Merkaba that managed to really move me.Amazing progression, amazing drops, very cool stuff,I listened to a lot of Zenon stuff after that, but non of them got that little special something Ive heard in Merkaba tracks (also, while Zenon is the hottest potato I've heard in a while, they somehow all manage to sound the same).
Anyway,it looks like the Australian guys have the right amount of inspiration to make something unique those days ,maybe its a good idea to move there lol...

I can sense some expectation building up in the Intro of the kindzadza track. But the rest of both, which are very nice tracks, just take me through the motions.

Found something that maybee is of your interest aciduss.
Here is this Dark Elf track which is played in one root note, if you hear the track since the beginning you notice some bassline note changes, he playes around a lot with it, and then on 3:01min he just keeps you in a diferent semintone for a realy long time, what kind of builds up a lot of expectation to get back to the root note, which folows on 4:46min
Tell me what you think of it.
Regards.

This is really nice. Bought the album on Beatport. Not often you come across a trance producer who manages to put a stamp of individuality on his music.
But can someone please tell me what instrument he uses to get those organic, bubbling, tearing sounds - from about 1:45. the whole album is full of those sounds. Maybe Absynth?
