hey dudes,
i wonder how and when you give names to your creations. before the track created, in middle of the creation or after you got the final product?
my names come most of the time at earlier stages of the production, when i got a small picture of what i'm doing and what i'm gonna do. then the name comes and helps me to know what the song about and how this track will be developed in the future.

I choose the names before to start a track. I usaly look for lots of materials (vocal samples, movie samples,...) before i start a new track. (For ex: "Atma & R-Tur - Memories from the future" - an old science book writed by Erik Von Daniken in1967-it was the first book i read). But most of artists just start to play with sounds and then they choose the track name.
Anyway most of the tracks made by myself have names inspired from philosophy books or Sf. movies !

My track names are changing from time to time in the middle of the track- depends on the time i'm saving, how stoned i am and my general mood.
Sometimes i have the same track with different names in different phases- this can be some name until the 4th minute and it can be another name when i'm finishing it- but i'm mostly not giving a name to track on the start phase.

It varies for me.... Sometimes I will name the track before I start it and allow the name to guide the mood. Sometimes I will use a vocal sample to name the track. But most of the time, I just give it a random name and be done with it, something quirky that hasn't been used yet... Or a description of the style that I used to write the track. I.E. One of my tracks is named Standard Deviation. I began writing it the same way I have written most of my stuff, but midway through the writing process I decided to write a few parts in reverse order... Deviating from my Standard process of creation...
