Hi I started a psytrack after long time of only recording metal and such.Would like if you can critisize it and maybe give construction help.Its not finished yet ,definetly not.I think there are too many different motives in there..am I right?
This is very fast... 150 bpm... damn probably the last time I make that fast techno music.To blame me myself first ..from 1:54 till 2:06 there is a sample from cybernetica free sample folder 'shame on me I know' i will replace it for sure.All othter sounds as well as all notes chords etc are from me.Im not satisfied with it,but Im gonna finish it.So give advice please.You can be sharp as a shark - very welcome.thanks.Ah there are some gaps in it since its not finished.Its only a few houres of work so far,I gonna continue after wake up.Bassline is monotony so far.. I will change it, Id like to hear about the motives does it fit ? I dont think so..All is in f minor.

I just think you should make more break at the end of your bar line to restart with more power on the next but for a first time it's not bad!

Hello thank you for comments no actually fruity loops is the only sequencer I still dont use but I will have to learn. I used logic ,cubase and reason so far in this one.
Misted Muppet hehe I haven't heard it for long... but I remember that I really liked Misted Muppet .. I have somewher an old album which I enjoyed lots of time.I replaced meanwhile almost the half of track is different now but will take this week to become finish.But don't know if its better.. I'll post it next weekend,maybe you can tell me which version you think is better.
#this verison is very annoying it is just draft,almost no breaks just monotony.And no..tbh its not my first psytrance attempt,but I think I start now to create something.Also the sound is weak need more power in mastering for sure.Cheers

There are heaps of good ideas here, I think what you need though is for them to be drawn together somehow.
Some suggestions:
I think the melody at 5:20 can be used earlier in the song? Perhaps as a climax?
Also I like the sound of the pad at the start. It may be interfering with the frequencies of the kick and bass though, you may want to eq it a bit? Possibly you could draw out the sound to fill 4 bars instead of 2, and make it interesting by adding some effects like you did in 1:45.
To make it even more interesting you could automate the fx level. E.g first 2 bars have the normal sound of the pad, and second 2 bars have the chopped sound of 1:45 (camelspace vst?) - you can do this by increasing the mix level of the vst after the first 2 bars, then decrease it again at the end of 4 bars.
Sorry that was quite specific, but just an idea anyway..

Thanks for this nice tips and useful critics for sure! As far as I can remember I didn't use camel fx in this version & on the pad is only a reverb coming from a send and the other variation of this pad is with a gate, dunno maybe the fx channel of it. I'll have a look and will follow also your tips today.

Nice travel here and there but yet still alot of things to do ALOT ! And this can be a basic of an good track , But sure bass and kik should be harder - By now they Sound cool together but to dry for my taste and thin , Mean more effects , Bring deepness , Think massive (Not because of the style 'Dark' or whatever , No This is not matter - I talk about the sound now - So i mean the massive of the sound around and how close its can be to us , To here) , Feel your story and think what you want in and how deep you go inside and bring those sounds to here , Try use Xbass4000 or Rbass for your bass and more compressor on the kik , Take any sound of you and 'Throw him into the water' - Sound work , Make it larg and grand (To the maximum , Dont be afraid - Take the down sounds max' to down and the high's max to up - Bring us fresh air and space to be between) Let it be biggg ... and cinematic , Why not ? , Make it be more drive and stream - Change the hh loops , More percussions , More leads , Feel your music , Fill the deads/Emptys areas with many more mello pads and atmos .. Bring some levels , Harmony of tools , More colors and more living in ..

here is my second draft
..I'm sick at home and couldn't judge anything really in a good condition studio. I know a bit more about my room accoustics and how my monitors work, but I'm only glad if I can hear my stuff in a real studio. So I don't know it maybe is a very diferent mix and dirty. Also I know there are things I have work out with some levels of some channels even though that's not a big problem only small things. But the overall mix I cannot judge. Mastering is weak, I didn't pump it up too loud and in my room its a fuck cannot jugde the stereo widening etc really.
I'm also not happy with it, like I said before the next track will be different I just would like to finish this mofo .
I'd like to hear which version is better, and all other whatever you want. Ciritics. Is the bassline too loud is the kick not loud enuff? Peace
..I also did not that much on bass only some other notes and threw rbass on it.Maybe I will make a parallel channel for effects on it but I will finish it tomorrow, maybe come back to it at some point. I heard it too many times.
