guess thats gonna be the future.. like the ideas but not the look and design of that thingy, but i guess that is just the start and many other brands will follow..

hm... i dont know ... i guess it must be quite hard to work with this thing during a 5 hour mixing session... imagine to draw in some whicked automation for two hours with your hands up there .. and all the "imporant functions like snap and grid" that u have on the < key in protools right at the tip of your little finger are here seprate buttons and you need a real movement to press them ...
but at least pt operators will then look less geeky and more worked out hehe

Well I think is kind of late, touchscreens will become mainstream shortly:
27" all in one touchscreen: 1500 USD, and it seems it responds quite well.
In a year you could buy a 15 inch touchscreen for 300", lay it at the side of your kb and display plug ins, the mixer, the grid in live or a dedicated app like lemur.
Far more flexible than this.
