Sooo, I got myself the complete toolkit upgrade from Pro Tools with student discount and am happy to announce that the 5.1 features work like a charm. I have been saving and waiting for a year now to get it.
Since it is Pro Tools LE 8, I thought the 5.1 would work via the third party 5.1 plugin from Neyrinck, but to my astonishment and surprise, My PT LE now has the same 5.1 capabilities as PT HD.
en and decoders are also included.
The only thing I need now (see how it goes on and on...) is a nice 5.1 reverb...
In 2 weeks I will move to a new house where I will have one room exclusively as studio, and I can't wait to get started. So the wait has been long, and the sound will come soon!

check out Uhbik-A for surround action.. 
light on cpu and very good sound..imo
any Uhbiks work in surround..
