I'm planning to buy a stage Piano and it basically comes down to these two.
I know the Roland has this Progressive weighted keyboard, and Yamaha has something, called 'Balanced Hammer', but this is not the same as Graded Hammer which the Yamaha CP300 has.
Would anyone know what this Balanced Hammer means?
And which of the two has the best sampled Piano? |

i tried a yamaha digital piano, and than i think i tried
Roland RD 700 SX, and man the Roland Blew me away, fucking awsome.... though as i havent tried the Yamaha you are talking about i cant tell the difference... but the FX and smooth feeling of the Roland was very sweet...
though the Yamaha Keys feelt more like a piano...
i think you be happy which way you go...
im thinking of getting my grandmas real piano here at my place, casue nobody uses it... i just love piano... mmm i feel like the "experimental pianist"
Good luck mr Djones
