HandA, I know I won't change your mind, it's not on my plans to try to change it.
I already got your point of view, and even agree with you in some extend...
But it's difficult to decide for some reasons, try to understand them and the fact the the whole Israteam only want the best for the forum and the scene:
1 - The forum is doing great IMO, even the Top 10 session the way it is now.
2 - The Top 10 session won't be closed.
And, believe it or not, it's suposed to be a fun session.
(ok, no joke about the funny in seeing there dino_psaras_-_thank_you_for_calling_mycel.mp3  )
3 - Top 10 session is not against the guidelines. I strongly doubt you'll find a user posting something like: "these is my top 10 lastest downloads". We can't tell 100% sure who are the traders. I'm sure that session Mods are doing a great job EDUCATING the users and removing all explicit trade related stuff.
4 - Lots of Artists, Label people and well-know DJs post Tops, reply and have fun in that session.
5 - Since it won't be closed, to "choose" who can post there is difficult. We already thought of some possibilities, but none is easy to implement or will completely solve this issue.
Hope everyone try to understand it.

Me neither, i guess my tops either too dated for most of the unr. seekers or too eclectic.
Once i posted a top with Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven tune and one user PM'd me and asked where can i get that remix.
