To continue the tradition we've started here. Here are my favorite composers:

john williams is my favorite..he created all those anthems to steven spielberg and george lucas movies, that we all once and a while sing in the shower

I love john williams just for the dark side 
but danny elfmans stuff rocks also a lot, I always wondered if he also composed all those variations of the simpsons theme that get played at the end of the episodes...

AFAIK the variations are by Alf Klausen (I hope I spelled that right)... another movie composer, but a second-stringer.
