ARTISTS:

1. FREQ (iboga): The best progressive artists latest years, i guess everybody will agree with me..a lot of realeases, 1 or 2(remixes) albums on iboga...nice works.;may be too much try to do the same style...keep your identity people please!

2. SENSIFEEL (Domo): This guy started to make really good and interesting last year with the Domo releases..and became with his first album one of the pur talent in trance! u should know his music..he bring something new and fresh into the music! very nice work.;keep the work man!!

3. ANTIX (Iboga): i put him at the third place but he could be under cause, except some remixes, in my opinion his style became not so much interesting last releases..but he still one the big releaser last years..and he still one of the best artist in progressive!

4. SYMPHONIX (tshitraka/Sinntech): One of the really good talent is coming out from the earth of germany again!!...We expect their first album!!

5. BUZZMONX (Plusquam): Really nice Album release last year..good sound and precious..we expect some more good releases from them...keep update!

I'ld like to give a special greetings for their works also, to Lunaspice, Xibalba, Fiction, Atmos, Cyklones, Fabio...
And be a little bit disapointed by the Son kite, Ticon and some others, for the direction of music the are taking...not my likes anymore...

LABELS:

1. IBOGA rds: the best progressive label last years.with some of the best releases with artist such as Antix or Freq...they have precious talents!

2. DOMO rds: last year became one of the best label into trance with the release which had a really good success, "VA Swiss connection".started to get good choice and opportunity to bring something new and fresh into the scene, with the release of Sensifeel debut album..;very nice outshot!!
i hope they will be abble to keep the good work!.;keeep it!

3. PLUSQUAM rds: after some really good releases, plusquam had some curious choice, like the Haldolium album, the two last VA..;but i sur laureth will go back with successfull story as he had in the past...

4. SINNTECH rds: a new and talented label germany, which keep some punch into the progressive dancefloor!!.;very nice release in 2005 with this Amarasya VA...montagu & Golkonda choices..;keep the work!!

5. Sub machine?zma?etc...a lot of label could take this fifth place, but actually i'ld like to say that i am disapointed by some of them like Digital structure or Flow.;who look for new styles or different..and don't keep the progressive into a good direction...

Well...here was my tops five for the 2004/05,please give me yours

I normally focus on the more techy/electroey side of progressive but here is a cross section of my 2004-2005 hall of fame (proper list is about 25 people long)

Petter-Too many good tracks from this guy to know where to start.

Tristan Boyle-not so many releases but all bang on the number and I've been playing his old demo a lot this year).

fREQ- Can't detract from the domination of Freq in 2004. More to come this year it seems.

Kooler/minilogue/Sonkite-I was listening to the System 7 remix last night. What a rig masher. Again its hard not to acknowledge their input in the last 12 months.

Sensient- I didn't used to really dig his sound but after hearing the second half of the track on Arise (Aeon records) I'm totally sold. What a gangster!

Big respect to all of the above. I predict that next year there will be a few more israelis in this list as they seem to be all getting really progged up.

In no particular order,

Artists,

Symphonix - I love the style they are doing and the direction they are going. But until now I find all their track's sounding abit the same. But I expect major progression and refreshing beats from these guys.

Yotopia - Sparkling fresh progressive tunes with a melodic edge and funky groove. This project suprised me big time with their "Point Blank" album release on Flow just a few weeks ago. Keep it up !

Xibalba - Day time trance that rock's in a pure melodic and trancy way. I once saw these guys perform live in germany and the crowd kept going until the last beat.

Element - These guys are around for a long long time. Although some of their stuff goes from progressive to fussion with guitars and vocals, it's still has this special morning feeling.

Alexander Ligowski - Until now I liked most of his releases on various compi's and atm I await his debut album wich will be released on Yellow Sunshine Exp. in the comming months.

Labels :

Iboga - What to say... high quality progressive tunes.

Sinntech - Fresh and kicking new German label with some great compi's out already.

VP Rec. - Only one compi out until now, but a great one. I expect more from these guys !.

AP rec. - Maybee a bit faster/psy'ish music but no where near full-on.

Flow rec. - With the new yotopia release they are rising in my progressive charts again .

I like a lot cross over and more housy stuff, but Ill try to keep the list more on the trance side..

1- Antix... what can I say? they just kick ass.. listen to this latest cd. They keep inovating, while keeping the groove

2- Dnox and Beckers - The guys of the moment. Lots of dancefloor bombs lately (and beckers alone too). Great stuff

3- Krueger and Coyle - These guys know how to work, and they have this ´funny´ aspect to their tracks that makes it all very interesting.

4- Vision and Canedy - First their full cd, and now some tracks in compilations that have been hitting the dancefloors everywhere.. Big stuff

5- Haldolium - I´ve liked their stuff for quite a while now, and they dont stay still in time. Keep inovating, modern sounds, very groovy. Hope the rumour that this 2004 cd was their last is not true.

(special mentions: 1- Freq, for making some huge party tracks, and very good production.. Too bad he repeated a bit too much.. 2- Buzzmonx - Very nice cd and tracks, but they are not standing out unfortunately.. and 3- Minilogue - I just dont put them there because almost no new stuff released, they are keeping it too much.. but their live is impressive, and I love the track Little Sisters.. Hope its out soon)

As for labels... 6, sorry:
