where's the emou album??

nice list anyways..

Kaya Project – Walking Through – Interchill is very good!

Shulman – In Search of a Meaningful Moment – Aleph Zero is bloody great!

Angel Tears – Way of the Mystic – Lovecat very kaya projectish, not that suprising since it's seb here too, very good release!

Now besides the Emou album I think your list is lacking Bluetech, Banco De Gaia, and that compilation from youth which name i can't remember

np: Banco De Gaia - Zeus Likes No Techno about as good as any Shpongle tune out there.. IMO anyways..          "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Brett, great tops man...good stuff.
I really like your taste...nice.
I cannot stop listening to Aes Dana/Memory shell...it really perfect for a night of california winter(rainy and chill) with a glass of wine and greens...hehe.
I'm still waiting for my copy of Natural born chillers...
Hey, you have a great christmas and new year...

and how about:
Abakus - That Much Closer to the Sun
V/A - Wider Horizons
V/A - Mar Y Tierra

Make it a top 19

this is NOT my top! This is the tops by Loyde Barde, a North California new age/ambient freak who runs Backroads music, a long running store with 6,000 + chill titles. His site, listed at the top of this posting, is a good source of info/tops/reviews. He is known to come up with gems every year, from labels and artists far outside out usual "psy" scene and taste.

Lots of good selections by Lloyd. But, there should be one spot opened. Not only was 'Angel Tears - Way of the Mystic' not released in 2004, it is the oldest Angel Tears album. Whoops. Insert 'Abakus - That Much Closer to the Sun'. Also, maybe we could bump Magic Sound Fabric to give 'Bluetech - Elementary Particles' a spot. Done.
