every time i open this seccion(top 10) of this forum i see only unrelesed tracks.soo for what i see if i want to be a good dj i have to get unreleased for labels or for the artists or have to get it illegal??!!and the released stuff is the top ten has more or less than 1/2 mounths.so
does a trance cd has a short period of "life"if so. why the hell shoul i by the cds if 2 mounths later they are "useless" in a dj set??!!i dont think so..
if i make a top ten with releases of 2003 for example is anything wrong with it.or it will be a good top 10?? |

Hey there!
I get your point but i think this is offtopic here. Anyway i'll answer you here..
CD's have a long lifespan (not as long as one would wish thou) and the music on them will also last for a longtime if good music.. Tee ones here who post top10 list with 90% of their tracks in the list is probably musicians them selves and/or they have good connections with other artists wich gives them their tracks so they can hype them in DJ sets and top10, good promotion for the artist who made the track.
HOWEVER, the list should ONLY contain good tracks that you really like, cause it is your top10 and no one elses. I think there might be ppl here who make top10's sometimes with unreleased tracks cause they want to make a name for them selves as a super fab dj with fresh music all the time.
So you just keep on spining you favourite tunes and post them here no matter what. Who cares if they are old or not the latest in a good list they all fit!

i can add somethings that i dont like \ understand about the top 10 section .
the fact that ppl post this lists of unrl track's ( ither if there artists who post the tracks thay made wich r unrl so how the hell can any bodey know the tracks and say thay are in the usfall word " killer " , or just net downloaders showing of ) is rediculess , this is only suporting the iligel indestry of not buying the music , just downoading it or i dont know what ..im so happy to say that i have a guy here next to my house in the local gruseryshop that tell's me, every time i come in the shop, what new cd he bouth ..this is a true trance listener and lover , he doesnt have a computer and he knows evey thing by the time its released ..is he not updated becouse of that ? is he out of the loop ? ...the trance world has become a plais wich is unti releases , this thing that when a track is finely out its old its rediculess.
andf to tell u the trouth in the end, i play released music , and i allways will , if its released it meens it was on of the good one's

1st - good music is never useless!
2nd - i think it should be created 2 TOP10 sections (one for the artists/labels and another one for the listeners/isratrance members)

well good "music" is timeless, but the fresher the "track" better the "wannabe dj".
1st i put a few words on "" because..music is diferent from a track in my point of view..a track is still music but not in the categorie of good music. (according 2 my standarts)
track and wannabe dj stay very well together..cause if a wannabe dj has a lot of fresh tracks a lot of people will want 2 listen 2 him..even if he can´t do a proper dj set... 
all thix i guess came from the evolution of the world...people became more greedy and it is all about me..me..me..me...wich means...as long as i stay good (good here comes on the material side and monetary side) i couldn´t care more about the rest of the world..as long has the crap stay in the neighbour garden, and mine is clean...hurray!!!!!
so here we have a nonsense...many of the wannabe dj´s pray for love and respect, and a lot of good stuff and in the real life...well i think most of us see it for our own eyes...
so i guess ghandarva is very very right!!but i see it thix way mate: if u make a top 10 with good music..belive in me..i am the 1st on reply on your top...cause if i like them and i see someone with my taste, well good man!i see u have love 4 what u listen...not like having tracks just 4 having...most of the fresher tracks stay on traders 4 a couple of hours..it is like having fastsex with someone u don´t know...well it is good..but does it give u the support u need 4 your life?i guess not...(not concerning u can get ill on sex diseases)
now knowing music, the evolution, the past the present, and try 2 create a better future...well it is like having a women u love all your life..and that gives u the support and love u need.

i can say just this:
the dj set is never good/bad because the dj had realesed/unr music.
its all in the ears.
if u "got it" u can make the crowd move even with your old cd case.
if u dont.. u cant even if had all the music in he world.
anyhow who cares for tops? come to party and decide ..
