New track I finished a few days ago and the one that pretty much completes my live set. Focused more on musical elements, but I feel sometimes it might get too melodic. What do you think? Also, any comments on production would be appreciated. Thanks

not too medodic for me bro,
i for one, sometimes enjoy good musical psytrance even more than all beats and FX all the way.

The part just before the fadeout at the end, where the music just starts to build into something faster (from the basschange, after vocal)is the best part and then you fade..

i cant give you any valuable technical advice,, i'm not that experienced.
Bass + kick feels like a good drive.

good work.
where in SA r u?

Hehe, had to fade out to leave some element of surprise for my live set.

From Cape Town, and you?

pretoria.

your music is not bad at all. i guess there is some room for improvement to make it just a bit more catchy. i can't put my finger on it, but there is some element in there that irritates me. maybe the PAD waveform or to continuous PAD - dont know...
i like the last part,, it sound more 'involved'(if i can use that word).
how long have you been at it?
i expect good stuff from you in the future. keep at it. blow our minds.

Thanks a lot dude, I know exactly what you mean. I find my biggest problem with my music is that it doesn't feel dynamic enough but I've never been sure if this is actually the case or I only notice this because I wrote the music myself and thus I know every nook and crany of my tracks inside out. I have more stuff at www.facebook.com/chemogen if you're interested.

i went through your playlist. crazy cool tunes.
the dynamics is fine by me.

My favorite is also one of your more melodic songs - Twilight Industries.
all pretty clean sounding mixes.
maybe i'll see u live somewhere sometime

Shot buddy

By the way, been at it since the middle of 2007. Started on FL7 and moved up to a combination of Reason and Cubase for production and Live for performance.
