Tonight we shake off the monday blues with Psy-kwaai AKA Module and Electric Mirror , two talented guys from Brighton , UK
Module/Psy-kwaai:
Psy-Kwaai(DJ)/Module{Producer}. I have been DJing for 8 years , 3 years in South Africa where myself and my family founded the Wacky Woods Transformation Farm. The other 5 years in and around Brighton playing such nights as Shantiluna, Enzyme, 180, Psy-Cookie and many a squat party! I was one of the co-founding members of the Earthrites Sunday Sessions/Re-Psycle and Have been producing Psy-Trance for about3 years now. My music is a mixture of Dark, Funk and Psychedelic and my DJ sets range from classy fat psychedelic to full on Bush Trance. I come from a guitar based backround and love music with energy and groove. I hope you enjoy the tunes. Jah Bless. Psy-4-Ever.... Electric Mirror:
Electric Mirror is 23 year old Karl Haniche, Currently part of the Phar Psyde records (UK) and Beartrap (SA) crews. Karl has been making Psy-Trance for 5 years now and was previously a bass player in a metal band before that. Karl used to be 1/3 of the psy-trance act, Corona (Sanskara records S.A) But has gone solo since moving to the UK in 2004. Originally from Cape Town South Africa, he is currently based in Brighton UK and can be found playing live sets often, in Southern England. His sound ranges from Fullon on Psy with a dark edge to a more melodic funky style. He infuses break beats and drum n bass type sounds into his tracks for an original edge. His aim is to whip the dance floor up into to a frenzy by the end of his set but at the same time, always keeping it very groovy and dance friendly. Electric Mirror has a few releases, his most recent ones being on the Phar-Psyde ‘Ignition sequence’ album and the Bom ‘Kop Eerste’ album. And will be releasing on the next Phar-Psyde and Vision records comp soon as well.
