lol find it funny, a book on how to finish a track ! 10 years ago it would have been crazy to think something like this would sell one day.

in few years i predict some will sell full tunes and you will just have to put your name on it..in fact it s almost there with guys that make hiphop beat /instrumental for sell.. it s already big buisness that may hit psytrance soon or later lol..

forgot about speedsound my bad, they do it already !

It's just ideas if you're in the middle of a track and u dont' know how continue your music to finish it.
thats why "how to finish track".
is not a spell on you that will make you learn to make music.
the title can be a bit ambiguous.
btw,
nice ideas and quote by everyone there.

If the internet was up and about wen Simon Posford started he may have looked at stuff like this. Im sure some time early in his career he would searched and needed advice. Sign of the times thats all

I don't think that talent was still needed to release an album or even become a "superstar". Enough to have a talented and clever manager           http://www.beatport.com/release/cross-the-atoms/1042450

Sorry for not being a Posford or xDream dude... even those guys must have learned from somewhere right?

This is not a book on how to become pro. This is just an aid for fellow audio geeks.

Talent and hardwork is there, I still read computer music mag, this and other thousand forums and a lot of books and offline material. Just another resource for the community made by a talented and good willed guy.

Not everyone is the same and we all have different processes. But he just found a common trouble most of us face, even him, and he's throwing some solutions along with pro quotes, is totally fine if you don't understand it / find it useful just let it be.

I'm sure Posford and the other pioneers out there found this kind of support and help somewhere on their beginnings. This used to be a very closed circle, you'd need to have the hardware and look for the psy techniques somewhere in the community... internet was just starting.

So guess what... 15 years later we have all these media and the sharing, and the connectivity... free synths and tutorials all over. Is always pleasant, at least for me to find other helpful guys around the globe and learn from them. No substitute for talent and hard work. Just an aid.
