2nd August is WRONG HAND DAY!!
On this day, we do everything with our wrong hand. It’s lot of fun and difficult at the same time. Ok maybe not everything… but the small things… try brushing your teeth with your wrong hand, or tie your shoe laces with your wrong hand, roll a spliff the other way round....or whack off??!
The wrong hand day story goes back to the time during the 18th century when black slaves were traded across borders.
A right-handed black slave was promised his freedom if he could perform certain tasks with his left hand. The man struggled, but eventually managed to win his freedom… all with his wrong hand!
The wrong hand day according to CNN is a tribute to all people around the world who have been robbed of their freedom. It’s a reminder of the human right to freedom.
Jimmy Hendrix, possibly the most innovative guitarist of the 20th Century was right handed. At age 11, he started playing guitar with his left hand. God Bless his wrong hand!!
