Well. I write some events in the edit view in Cubase. Imagine a cubase project with just one midi track. I write some events and when I push "play", the program read what I wrote and it sound. Untill here everything is ok. The problem begin when events line (imagine a bassline) that i wrote finishes. Ok, the line is over, and it has been read. So, once the line is over it shouldnīt keep sounding, but it keeps sounding till I push "stop". You know what i mean? The line is over but cubase keeps reading something and i dont know "what" is it

if you can help me it would be very kind
thanx in advance

the Release is the time that the notes still makes sound after the note is released, try putting the release in the min and see if that still happens

I think I know what the problem is. Let's say you have a note that lasts for 20 seconds. Even though the part (the box that has the notes in it) lasts for 5 seconds, the note will still last for 20 seconds. So increase the length of the part and see how long your note really lasts for. And then decrease it to how long you want it to sound for.
If this is not the case, if you are using absynth, there is a hold button you press and the note sounds for ever. there are some other vsts i think that have the same function.

it's a fucking bug in cubase SX -- it's happend to me also sometimes and there is no connection between the note length or delay or release or whatever

it's a fucking bug - check your cubase version and if you can, make some update.

and you can always do the old trick - Save, exit and load again - fucking windows - mac is the best

Yeah!!! Exactly, the problem isnīt the release time, or delay or whatever. I know what a delay is or what the release time is. FluoSamsara: it happends with all my VSTi. Input: maybe you are right. So you have the same problem and itīs a bug? Well, I canīt say iīm glad for knowing where is the problem but is great to know that itīs a bug. Iīll try to update...
Thank you all...

I love those bugs! try to play a loop for a while in cubase and then push / (out of loop mode) .
In my computer sometime I hear some lines from the loop and some lines from whats after the loop..
It can be annoying but.. the crazyiest original lines comes from mistakes!           check out! www.soundclick.com/spasm
