you can also do that with FL
save the melodie as wave and strech it to fit the same size as it was in 130. (in the wave options)
  REHAB is for quitters |

I have to agree with nectarios here. If u want to match between loops to bpm.. Recycle is the best software that does it, since the wave itself left usually unharmed during the procedure. Acid and another time stretch techniques, in the bottom line will imply certain amount of damage or distortion to the wave - whilst Recycle will usually do the work very nice,.. Another big plus to Recycle - say u have changed the bpm to 140 and after couple of days u want to change again - no problem!! Just change.. It is true tho, if your loop contains big reverbs or ( and that even harder to cope with ) a lot of delay - then the usage of Recycle becomes harder. In case of reverbs tho, there is a solution ( for those that have time ofcourse ) - almost every reverb can be reconstructed
One more thing - in cubase SX there is the Recycle feature ( I like the original better tho ) and u can do the same without leaving the sequencer.

I tried Recycle a while ago... but isnt it true when you change the tempo the pitch changes as well?
Thats what I experience when I tried it... Is there a way to get around that? |
