Ok, i want to install as few applications on my CPU, so im tempted to copy the .dll of my vst plugins into vst directory instead of installing them. is this possible???

this depends on the product. some plugins come as a single .dll with no copy protection (free plugins from kvr for example). most of them will be simply "installed" by placing the .dll in the vstplugins folder. some other plugins (most commercial ones) need the execution of an install routine and possibly some kind of copy protection verification.

the best thing you can do is to try out.

hope that helped,

yeh, many vst plugins won't run correct without the files installed in its separate folder.

sounds like you need an faster cpu, better solution           myspace.com/auralinvasion

its just gna cauze alot of unhappiness.
Rather jusr reinstall everything....
And this time sort into seperate folders, "installs" ans "non-installs" the ones that need installing go in installs and vice versa           [[[G|L|I|T|C|H]]]
