HI to all!
When i hold ctrl and clone a mixer channel, so i dont hv to add all the plugs again, the changes i make to the cloned channel are made to the original too. When i set the channel inst number of the clone to a diferent one than the original, then i get a empty channel mixer, with all plugs i hv cloned no more there.
U guys know how do i clone it with no sync between then?
I use logic 8 at school and it can be done pressing just one button.. i am almost sure it probabily has some way of doing it on logic 5, i guess not so easy like in the 8 version... anyway, hope there is a solution! this will save me some time and patience!
u all hv a good weekend! thanks!

You can do it, but not the same way as in version 8.

When you create a new channel, it's empty.
If you want to copy plugins from one channel to another, go to audio congifuration window and drag with right click + ctrl.

good luck.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Hey trip ,
thanks but it doesnt work.. like this way u mencioned i can only drag the full channel, not only the pluggin. AND it is still linked to the original, meaning changes affects both channels. Dont know if u noticed but its happening the same thing as i told in the firs post.
Jesus.. in any software u can do that, even if saving channel states for exemplo.. i just cant find a way to do it in logic 5... :/           www.myspace.com/beehivelive

You can't drag plugin by plugin inside the enviroment/mixer.
As I said before, you need to open audio configuration window, and do all the dragging there.

Hey!
yes.. i tried what u told me to do, but the problem is that the channel that was dragged (cloned) gets like "linked" to the other(the original), meaning anything i do to one the other gets too.
Thanks anyway trip, i guess logic 5 does not hv this funcion, or something similar.. unfortunattly..

hey mad scientist, what is sonikmatter?

thaks anyway,
u all hv a great end of week!

I didn't tell you to drag a channel I'm sorry.
You're deffinately not doing what I am suggesting.

Don't drag channels, you have many other empty channels already.

Logic 5 deffinately has this option, and I use it almost every time.

go to audio configuration window...
and drag plugins there.
