hey, not a bad effort, it's hard to hear a lot of stuff that's going on because of the mix though. pretty much everything except the bass is way to soft, the bass is tooo loud, percussion and stuff needs to come up. also, i would choose a more "clicky" kick with more of a high end to it, the style of kick you're using atm is suited more to old school goa stuff with a really subtle bass line, not the full on bassline that you have at the moment.
a good idea would be to listen to your track, and then straight after listen to an artist whose production you really like to compare levels with, it helps when you're first starting to have something to compare to, as your ears can decieve you sometimes when you're just working alone.
anyway, keep at it, you have promise! |
