I just started too with Logic. Make a standard start up song which is arranged as you like it with the different screensets. I use 1 as the arrange window plus the mixer window showing the channel selected in the arrange; 2 is the mixer; 3 the audio editing window, and so on - set it up how you like. Also in this configure some key commands for functions you use regularly. For example set F12 for cpu level, or F11 for toggling the automation on and off, whatever you want. That's the cool thing I like about Logic, the fact that's it's so easy to customise. Ctrl+alt+k gets you to setting them.

eheh, it took me 3 or 4 months to understand what the hell this thing do, but after you get the concept youre on your way. i think u should mess around with it without asking for help as much as u can. A useful tip is to focus only on the audioinsts and the audio layers, the rest is useless imo.
good luck |

As ThiaGOA said concentrate only on what you need.....logic is a very big and versatile program so it might be confusing at the start but you dont probably need all that stuff.....

Print out a list of used and unused key commands, these will give you a quick reference sa to what Logic can do.
Try the Logic FAQ (use a search engine).
