At the first complete listen it felt a bit boring, like something coming and just passing by, at the pre-listening it sounded interesting though.

Well, I relistend it on headphones, and it became way less boring. But still not "rocking".

if it strikes you as boring, or kind of boring then i am curious to hear what you would call really interesting... please don't link to loads of stuff... just perhaps one or two things ?

to my ears the album is quite unusual - and i still enjoy listening to it. He builds in a good deal of the unexpected into his arrangements.

Tastes are different. It`s deffenitly detailed and that`s why interesting music, but - for me - when I listen to it, it`s just like a river, which passes by, while I am more interested in the woods nearby.

one of the most interesting, and cheese-less albums i have heard in years! such amazing sound quality as well.. each little sound placed in its own little space. my favorite release of 2010 _by far_.

yeah I'm a fan of this. I like the tunes a lot - better than his more dancefloor oriented stuff.

haven't found a place for any of it in a dj set yet, but still enjoying it.

I know what you mean Gunter... it does kind of flow by like that... though i'd be interested to hear the "woods" you refer to...

and yes... not found it's way into a dj set yet for me... it is kind of a bit moody ... goes out well on the radio though.

I love this album! I think his experience producing surround sound music shines through . Even though it is in stereo, there's a wonderful spatial quality to it (I like what you said Xerxes, that each little sound is placed in its own little space). The first time I listened to it was on a night that I didn't have anything that I needed to do and I was in a relaxed mood, so I kicked back and played it through a nice surround sound system using Pro Logic encoding with the lights off and my eyes closed. Wow, it gave me goose bumps! Precious.......

Gunter, maybe if you put it aside for several weeks, months or possibly even years, you might come back to it and see it in a whole new light.

Yah, let`s see. Maybe it will grow to me .
Andrew, the "woods"-picture was just a picture, explaining, that this territory of music is not my favourite right now anyways. I am more enthusiastic about other types of chill at the moment.
