To get the fatness out of the Pro53, increase the amount of voices. (Red LED in the middle of the interface, between "unison" and "analog").
Fatness is hidden there, i have found =)

Are you aware of the comb filtering created by:
A) having your monitor set back on a surface away from the edge.
B) an object in front of and in close proximity.
