Hey guys,
I'm really freakin out creating a high tech Bassline. It seems just not possible - it's really quite easy for me to do some fullon stuff for example.
Tell you have an Idea which generator Plugin to use for something sounding like this?

Would really appreciate your help!

Well, almost any synthesizer will do. A sawtooth wave shape, with carefully set amp envelope. Use an oscilloscope to see if the notes aren't running into each other.
The rest of it is the usual routine: you don't need key track for the filter imo. Modulate filter cutoff frequency with an envelope. Carefully set this envelope settings and the amount (depth) of modulation.
It will only sound good if you're using a good kick to go along with it, and the length of it and it's tunning is also key to get the roll feeling.
You really need to get it to sound good at this stage - the source is where the gold is. I'm sure you'll find plenty of useful advise for "how to process kick and bass" on this forum. Good luck! |

Why? Do you think there should be speed fines for real fast music?
Whatever makes one happy is fine! |

seriously, isn't quadrafuzz enough for saturation? I think when processing Bass it's a good idea not to over do it.
EDIT
(not saying that it sounds bad tough... ) |

Yes I agree with your last point, but the thing I dont like Hi-Tech it's not because it's "too fast" (I have a project @175 bpm, it's because it goes nowhere, same stuff over and over..
