Did you check if your BIOS boot priority settings are properly set?
Your CD/DVD/RW ROM drive should be set as your 1st boot device.

Also, did the version you downloaded come as an image file or just as a bunch of folders and files?

i have had the same problem: i have downloaded several rar files for tiny xp rev 05 and Beast edition, when unrar theres no iso file, just some files and folders:
boot
win51
win51p
win51p.sp2
$OEM$
I386
someone said burn the boot file with magiciso, that didnt work either, i have it set to boot from drive,,, so..
i might just be too stupid,, if someone kind enough to upload an ISO-BIN image , then i d be eternlly grateful..

OK, I have been recieving some PMs about the TinyXP, If you are having problems installing it, go to my other post where I uploaded TinyXP Beast edition, actually, that is the one I am using in my laptop and its a great version, some issues with the keyboard you may find, like maybe the @ symbol not working....have to find the way around it, but it is a super fast OS.

Ok...I manage to download from megaupload.Everything went smooth in the setup.Really quick OS but I have one problem. The installation seems that it didn't setup any ieee 1394 firewire drivers so my onboard firewire and my pci firewire are not recognised by the system.

Is there any solution on this?           Vasilis Irrational

For my laptop I got the beast edition, and for my PC I got v5 of TinyXP, both are great, in my version I made it smaller, beast comes with firefox for example.
I love both. beast edition might be faster but again, both are great for DAW.

The drivers are not included in TinyXP so you'll have to put in the cd that you got with your computer/hardware (in your case the firewire) and install the drivers from there. If that doesn't work or you don't have a cd, try searching for "[device name] drivers" in google and download them from there.

NASA > If you plan on using your laptop for DAW only, you should install Beast edition. I run Beast on my DAW laptop and TinyXP rev05 on my desktop that I use for school and other stuff as well. I have .iso's for both if anyone needs them.
