reading the info file into the package downloaded from the torrent from 5Meo-Geo, seens to be a good choice! This weekend i will install on my workstation and i will post here what i´ve got with it!

Tiny XP is just a normal XP slipstreamed with all updates (might be good in some points, but in the other way not, i just dont trust M$) some compononets are removed, i tested alot of Unatended XP's from the Pirate World, the best peace that i liked was
Windows XP SP2 Striped to the Bone Edition, its very slim and hell fast 
ps, WinFLP is very nice to, just no sata support  , and if u wanna make ur own Unatended XP, just get nLite, this is legal

So we go on here...
check this software out:

with that you can create your own "window light" "tiny windows".
The program needs the windows XP cd, then it gives you the choice over EVERYTHING in windows. you can integrate drivers, choose layout options and optimizations, leave away programs, and if you are a total crack you can even integrate programs.
After that it creates a new ISO.
YOu can enter the serial number before, and get a windows CD which you just have to put in, go through the DOS stuff, and after that it does everyrhing on it's own, after 30minutes you have you customized windows running.
I used it a couple of times to make my custom windows with no messanger and many other audio usless stuff.
If I have to reinstall it saves a lot of work.
I also did one version for work- multimedia pcs.
recommended!
But if you throw out to many things it wont run anymore ;-)

It means it installs stuff automatically, no need to enter serial numbers or updates etc. It just updates ewverything to the current version - usually only takes 1 reboot. |

i googled tiny xp and all i found was links to various torrents/trackers .. it isnt an official MS release ? can it be purchased from somewhere or is it one of those `at ur own risk` beta os thing ? |

It's not an official MS release it's some hacked up copy of XP with all the junk removed, but I've been using it for over a year without a hitch. If you own a copy of windows XP and change the license key using the included program, then technically, I don't see how it is illegal.
If you want to make your own version of TinyXP that you trust using your own copy of XP, google for Nlite. |
